Tamraght, the laid-back surf village
Perched on the hillside above the ocean, Tamraght draws surfers and travellers looking for a quieter stay than Taghazout, while staying minutes from the best-known spots. The village lanes are easy to walk, but the beaches and neighbouring villages stretch along the coast.
With a car, you easily combine morning surf sessions, lunch in Taghazout, shopping in Agadir or a day inland.
Collecting your car in Tamraght
Choose “Tamraght” in your request and give the exact address of your accommodation. Before booking, ask your host about access and parking: some village streets are narrow.
The agency then confirms the meeting point, time and any fee. If you arrive at Agadir Airport, you can also collect the car when you land and drive straight to Tamraght.
Which car for a stay in Tamraght?
For frequent trips on the coastal road, the Renault Clio 5 is compact and economical, as a petrol automatic or a diesel manual. The automatic Dacia Logan has a bigger boot for families and luggage.
Tell us about travellers, suitcases and surf gear: the agency confirms the available space and what is permitted before you agree.
What to do around Tamraght by car
Taghazout is just to the north, Aourir and its banana stalls just to the south. Agadir and its Marina are easy to reach for an evening out or a shopping day. For nature, take the Paradise Valley road that heads inland from Aourir.
Further north, the coastal road leads towards Imsouane: a great day out by car, as long as you leave early and plan to be back before dark.
Compare and book with peace of mind
If you split your stay between Tamraght and Agadir, compare the total rental cost with your actual plans. Ask about included mileage, fuel policy and deposit to compare a complete offer.
Availability, time, pickup place and any fees are agreed together before booking.
